The Author

Benita Fong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. She holds a Masters in Communication Studies (Macquarie University, Australia) and a Masters in Education (Durham University, UK).

She enjoys traveling and has lived in Australia and America. She lives in Singapore with her husband and 4 children.

An educator for more than 12 years, Benita enjoys interacting with her tertiary students from all walks of life and cultures.

She has an adventurous and positive spirit. She loves family time, choral singing, attending musicals and participating in sports.

Benita is also the author of Johnny Can See, the book that first brought Johnny to you, and Johnny Can Dream: A visit to a Peranakan Place, the latest title in the "Johnny" series.
